The nocturnal, solitary
TIGER (Panthera tigris) uses
sight and sound to ambush prey consisting
mostly of large mammals. The five remaining subspecies inhabit snowy
terrain, forests,
grasslands and swamps from Siberia and India into southeast Asia.
